Transparent Lucifix Premolar Matrices |
Lucifix® offers blue and transparent posterior matrices with integrated fixing device. The new blue colour, offering an alternative to the transparent, was chosen to increase the contrast between the matrix and the tooth structure while having a negligible influence on the composite conversion rate. This is a big advantage for better visual control of the composite application, filling procedures and handling. There is no discolouration of the dyed matrix when in contact with etching gels, bonds and primers.
The blue line is a step forward in simplifying and accelerating everyday procedures; the traditional matrix holder is no longer needed. The matrices can be adjusted to individual requirements by gingival or occlusal clapping. The matrix is 0.075 in thickness.
